Who are Fixed Bristol?

We are a growing group of dedicated Bristol based cyclists with a passion for building and riding fixed gear bicycles (read Sheldon Brown for a huge amount of singlespeed information).

We would all agree it is an additive habit and looking to share advice and resources with those who are as fixated as us and equally those who do not (yet!) ride fixed but are interested in giving it a go.

We will have regular social road runs in the Bristol area with the traditional café stop. We are also aiming to take advantage of the Newport Velodrome for some track action.

Other ‘specialist’ activities will include off-road fixed riding (see 63xc) and possibly indoor roller racing events (check out rollapaluza).

As keen bike builders we welcome hosting classified adverts for frame parts etc and the opportunity to share knowledge, expertise and tools. Finally, as we like looking at our bikes as much as riding them we have a gallery to post your favourite ride!
